As a Hair Stylist the relationships built with my client strengthens my desires to continue to learn more. I began my cosmetology education in 1990 my sophomore year at Largo High School in Largo, Florida. My training continued for the remaining two years of high school. After my high school graduation, I passed my state boards and received my cosmetology license.

Shortly thereafter my career as a stylist began in a large full service salon in St. Petersburg, Florida. During these eight years, my interest expanded to training our new staff, which were required to complete advanced education prior to working behind the chair as a hair stylist in the salon. Their education included more advanced techniques of haircuts, foil highlighting, perming, etc. I worked four days per week as a stylist and one day training our new staff.

I then worked at two other salons before joining the Artistic Expressions Day Spa family. I love the intimacy of a cozy salon and I am passionate about styling hair. I love making people feel good about the way they look. I have no desire to do anything else.

Over the years I have had many wonderful opportunities to further my education in hair. I have trained in Las Vegas, Orlando, Tampa and New York several times and continue to keep updated on the latest trends. I am a Redken Master Specialist and have had the privilege to train with some of the leading icons of the hair industry.

My other passions are my children. I am the proud parent of two beautiful boys, who brighten my life each and every day.
